A damaged and old CDs does not have the same value to anyone, unless you are Sean E Avery, it does not throw them away but redefines them into amazing figurines. Seeing that when most would throw them in the trash, the artist from Perth, Western Australia, changes them into different dazzling animal sculptures. Sean E Avery is a teacher, writer-illustrator, sculptor and designer born in South Africa, living in Perth, Western Australia in the present. He makes the sculptures by gluing the CDs pieces to the wire mesh frames in the form of different animals. I think that, this art is truly stunning, artist finding a way to interpret the old CDs in an amazing creations.

“My sculptures are all constructed with recycled materials — old CDs, computer hard drives etc, so I classify my work as “sustainable art” .They’re a lot of fun to make, but they take an extremely long time to finish, so I don’t do a lot of them.” Sean Avery
